Tutorials

Each tutorial runs inside the application on measured data, and you do every step yourself. A card beside the worksheet says what to do next, points at the control, and moves on when the application shows it was done. Where a step can go wrong, the card shows what right and wrong look like. Show me points at the control and acts the step out without changing anything, and Back puts the application back as it was before that step. Progress is kept, so a tutorial can be left and resumed.

Your first fit

Enter measured double-slit data from a file, choose the model, read the starting values off the plot one at a time (or ask a language model), fit, and read the fringe visibility from the result.

Uncertainties

Per-point, constant and absent uncertainties; the effect of an x uncertainty on a fit; interpreting χ²/NDF.

When a fit won't converge

Fit ranges, point exclusions, and recognising an inadequate model.

Soon

From fit to answer

Carry a fitted parameter into Analyze Data and derive a physical quantity with its propagated uncertainty.
